MazeCreator Main Page
Create your very own mazes, with multiple paths crossing each other through tunnels. Make sure to save your maze to play with it
or to share with others, or to further edit and refine.
How to create your Maze
- To get started, use the "New" button to select the size and shape of the Maze you want to create
- Use the arrow keys to draw the maze paths
- Use the mouse pointer to click on a new cell or go back to an existing path
- Also use the mouse to create tunnels by dragging from one starting cell to another end cell
- Add the Maze start and end locations by clicking on the desired location and then use the "Set Maze Start" or "Set Maze End" buttons
- Use the "Select Cells" button to enable cell selection and then click and drag through the desired area
- Once selected, you can copy and then paste in a new location, or cut and then paste to "move" the selected cells to the new location
- Arrow keys can be used in 3 different modes: a) Drawing mode (the default mode), b) Erasing mode (to erase cells)
and c) Moving mode (to move around without affecting the maze)
- Colors can be used to differentiate paths or zones, to help during your maze design process. Colors are not visible during Maze solving
- Use the "View Colors" / "Hide Colors" button to enable color viewing
- Choose the Color to be used by selecting a Color under the "Coloring..." sub-menu
- Enable or disable the coloring of existing cells by choosing "Set Coloring On" / "Set Coloring Off"
